Allen V. Davis

Allen Davis was born in Monroe, Louisiana and was raised in San Jose, CA. He graduated from Gunderson High School in San Jose, Ca in 1991 where he was a highly recruited basketball player. He attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Marketing in 1997. Upon graduation, he worked for 3M Corporation, IBM, and several software development companies in the late 1990s and early 2000s. In 2005, Allen Davis earned his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center. He was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar the same year.

Allen Davis began his legal career in 2005 where he fine-tuned his legal skills working for major New Orleans-based corporate law firms focusing on toxic tort and product liability litigation. This experience gave him the professionalism and knowledge required for long-term success in the legal field. Since 2011, Allen Davis has operated a solo practice where his primary areas of practice are personal injury, automobile accidents, and criminal defense.

Allen Davis is married with four children and one grandson, and has been a resident of Ascension Parish since 2006. He is deeply committed and involved in youth sports in his community, and serves as a mentor for many young adults in the East Baton Rouge, Ascension, Assumption and St. James Parishes areas. Allen Davis currently serves as Magistrate Judge for the City of St. Gabriel and is also an attorney with the 23rd Judicial District Public Defender's Office.

Allen Davis is a member of South Baton Rouge Church of Christ and is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
